Welcome to Brightmoor
Visual: Bright tutoring room with small round tables, a whiteboard with a colourful "Welcome!" doodle and a bookshelf in the background. No students.
Welcome to Brightmoor Learning Studio, a small, independent tutoring centre right here in the neighbourhood. We offer small-group and one-to-one tutoring in maths, English and study skills for primary and high-school students, plus evening short courses for adults. Our approach is simple: find out where each learner is, build their confidence, and make learning feel doable again. Have a question about how we work? Send us a message.

The 25-minute homework trick
Visual: Cover shows a kitchen timer next to an open exercise book on a Sky Wash desk. Inner slides are numbered steps on Sky Wash, with numerals in Sunrise Coral.
The 25-minute trick (also known as the Pomodoro technique): 1. Set a timer for 25 minutes. 2. Work on ONE task, phone in another room. 3. Take a 5-minute break: stretch, drink water, move. 4. Repeat up to 4 times, then take a longer break. Short, focused bursts often feel much less overwhelming than 'do all your homework'.
CTA: Save this for tonight's homework.

5 questions to ask after school
Visual: Sky Wash card with a Bright Navy headline, five questions in Inter, and a small Sunrise Coral speech-bubble icon.
"How was school?" "Fine." Sound familiar? Try one of these instead. They won't work every day, but they're a great way to open up conversations.

How to read a question properly
Visual: Cover is a close-up of a pencil underlining words on an exam-style worksheet. Inner slides cover underline / circle / plan / re-read.
Underline it, circle it, plan it. It adds a minute, and it can save a lot of frustration.
CTA: Save this before your next test.

Build a study space in 4 steps
Visual: Before/after desk shots: a cluttered desk, then a tidy desk with a lamp and one open book. Styled, no people.
A good study space doesn't need to be big. Small changes, calmer study sessions.

A look inside the studio
Visual: A small-group table mid-session, shown from behind: three students' backs and hands, the tutor's hand pointing at a notebook, whiteboard behind. No faces.
Bright rooms, small tables, whiteboards that never stay clean for long, and a shelf of books that students can borrow. We keep groups small on purpose, so every student gets time with their tutor and space to ask questions without feeling rushed. (Students shown from behind, with permission.)

Mistakes are proof you're trying.
Visual: Bright Navy background. The quote in white Poppins 700, with the word "trying" highlighted in Sunrise Coral. A small Leaf Green pencil icon.
A wrong answer is useful. It shows us exactly what to practise next. We'd much rather see a brave attempt than a blank page.
CTA: Share this with a student who needs to hear it.

How our first assessment session works
Visual: Step cards on Sky Wash with big Sunrise Coral numerals and simple icons (chat bubble, puzzle piece, map).
Every new student starts with a relaxed assessment session: a short chat with you and your child, a friendly activity to see where they're at, and a talk-through of what we noticed with a suggested learning plan. There's no obligation to enrol afterwards. It's simply a good first step. [Session details and any fees to be confirmed by the client; none are stated here.]

Reading at home: 10 minutes a day
Visual: Tip-card template with a small illustration of a stack of picture books and a comic. Leaf Green "TIP" tag.
Reading together, even for 10 minutes a day, is one of the easiest ways to support learning at home. Let your child choose the book (comics count!), take turns reading pages, and chat about what might happen next. Keep it fun and low-pressure. What's your family reading at the moment?
CTA: Comment your family's current read.

Ask the question. Someone else was wondering too.
Visual: Sky Wash background, a large Sunrise Coral speech-bubble outline framing the quote in Bright Navy Poppins.
There are no silly questions in our classes. Very often, the 'simple' question is the one that helps the whole group.
